He got sick about 5 weeks ago, and nearly died then. He recovered after fighting it for nearly three weeks. We had two good weeks with him, until last Wednesday (Sept 8th), when he went downhill again. We don't know for sure what it was. We're just glad we had the time with him.
He was a good boy, and it would be nice to know what happen...but the vet didn't know either, so guess we never will. I thank God for him letting us have him for as long as we did, and also thank him for not letting him suffer any longer...I miss my little kitchen buddy. :(
SCROUNGE\ 'skraunj\ verb SCROUNGED; SCROUNGING: to collect by, or as if by foraging.
Sounds kinda FUN, don't it?
This blog is about farm life and finding things in fence rows and bringing them back to life. It's also about the antics our animals do and cause. I hope you enjoy reading our adventures!
Rest in peace,Rascal. Peace be with you, Scrounger and Deb.
